This tree is ageless when there is not enough rain this tree can prune itself. We could see water in waterhole because the rain was strong with thunder and lightning last night however, ironically, the string rain last night closed the gate of Ayers Rock today. We usually don’t see water at the bottom but there are much water from last night rain. We can find many trees hit by lightning because rich water inside of the tree can attract lightning. This spiky bush, Soft Spinifex, is commonly found in this area. We took many trick art photos with this trace of giant water fall. This is Old People’s Cave where Elderlies assembled to conduct ceremonies including cooking in the cave. We can find many painting at the various caves. This is the spot that aborigines cooked bread like naan.Īborigines didn’t have letters therefore, they left messages in drawing. There will be a water fall when it’s rained. There is a trace of waterfall on the rock face. There are quite number of trees because the area is semi-deserted area, meaning less rain but rich with underwater. The common trees that we can observe here is named Desert Bloodtree. Since we could not climb we went to walk at Mala Walk. The cloud was cleared by the time we reached to the gate, but the gate was closed due to low cloud and I am aware of IT. It’s not a good sign because according to the tour itinerary, we supposed to climb the Ayers Rock today. Unfortunately, Ayers Rock was still covered with the thick cloud. We left hotel early with a breakfast bag to watch Ayers Rock in Sun Rise.Īt the view point, there was as a drink and snack station for us but I quickly made a hot chocolate to go to bring it to the view point.Īyers Rock is covered by the thick cloud…. I continued walking towards Kasumigaseki area where Japanese government buildings are. This is why this bridge is called Nijubashi or Double Bridge. This steel bridge was originally made by wood, then, reinforced by wooden beams. Nijubashi (Double Bridge) or officially called Seimon Tetsuhashi (Steel Bridge of the Main Gate). Usually there would be many local and foreign travelers covering this street. Nonetheless, I felt good walking on the street to the Imperial Palace because there are less people! Looking at the current situation, honestly, I wonder we would be able to host such a large event in 2021. There is a clock to count down to Olympic day at the Tokyo Station. It’s nice weather, therefore, I decided to walk back home after the meeting – another mini sightseeing in Tokyo. It’s made of eco friendly material yet antibacterial: limestone. I like their mask case, LIMAX which is simple yet stylish. I had a tour of hotel rooms and banquet rooms for future events (if any). Afterwards, take a 15-minute stroll from the Sky Garden to Nakameguro along the river – you’ll find plenty of cafés and boutiques.I had a meeting with Shangri-La Hotel Tokyo. To access Meguro Sky Garden, look for the elevator next to the post office and take it to the ninth floor, or you can take the staircase beside the Life supermarket and follow the path to the top. The park offers a superb view west to Setagaya and beyond and is a wonderful place to bask in the sunset – on a clear day, you’ll even be treated to a view of Mt Fuji. Paths wind through beautifully landscaped gardens, past a community vegetable plot and there are large lawns perfect for picnicking (heads up: there’s no canteens, so you’ll need to bring all the essentials). The New York Highline set the standard for turning an industrial thoroughfare into a public park and Meguro Sky Garden follows suit, with 7,000sqm of parkland above the intersection of two major expressways.Ĭonstructed in 2013 in Ikejiri-Ohashi, just one stop from Shibuya on the Denentoshi Line, the garden occupies a circular plot of land that rises between 15 and 25 metres above street level.
